I have stock cams, and mine is a 3200 PI Stallion converter. I wouldnt go any less than that. This is my daily driver, so I dont think I'd go any higher than that. I've got 4.10's also, and this thing is pretty fun to drive around. It takes off hard now. With street tires (275/40's) it spins all the way through 1st, chirps 2nd, and goes. About the J-mod...set it up for the highest power level if you want it to shift pretty firm, because the converter will make the shifts pretty mushy. I still have stock line pressures in the transmission and the 2nd-3rd shift is just a little harder than stock even with the j-mod set up on the hardest setting, because of the 3200 stall. If you dont get a converter, the hardest setting will be pretty harsh for around town driving. If you do get one though, you'll need some sticky tires for the track because street tires won't do it.
