Hey guys. This is the first ever forrum i have ever joined, so just please work with me on this. Lol. Anyways, I have a 1992 GT hatchback. It's my 3rd mustang I have owned. And of course it does have the 5.0 with the T-5 tranny. I have been having a issue with it the past 3 days with it not starting. Its getting fire because I can eather it and it will fire forva second, maybe 2. So it is definitely a fuel delivery issue. Well in the past 3 days I have replaced the pump, the filter, and the relay. So that narrowed it down to the inertia valve mounted in the rear. I
continuing frm pg.1= I checked to see if the inertia switch was hot, it was NOT. So I followed andvtraced the inertia switch wire all the way to the eec and with the key in the on position, I had no power coming from the rec to the inertia switch. It should be hot, right. Someone please help me with this delima. I need my Stang going. Because these ol'feet can't handle the walking I would have to do if I can't get it going..
We’ll get you some help here.
First I’ll ask JR to help combine your two threads and then move them over to our ‘79-‘95 tech section. @karthief ?
It’s good to have you with us and you should have answers by this evening.
Btw, once your mustang is up and running, post a picture or two of the car for us. We always like mustang pictures here.
