You probably damaged the O2 sensors during the swap I think.

Wouldn't the CIL come on if the O2's were damaged? Does the car start immediately after it stalls? Do you have a 5 spd or an auto?

I can't really think of much else that an x-pipe and catback could screw up other than your O2 sensors. If the O2's are bad or damaged, they may be giving off bad readings, which wouldn't trip your CE light, but might cause your car to stall out.

Your ignition module might have also gone bad on you. The same thing happend to me, and the car eventually would not fire. It may be pure coincidence that this is occuring directly after installing some exhaust components.

Did you guys ever figure out why it stalled with the x-pipe? I nstalled a catted bassani on my automatic 94 GT with dynomax mufflers and it ran good but sounded like crap. I put on some flowmasters and now it sounds great but it keeps dying at stoplights. There is less resistance to press the gas pedal and it revs faster. Would it have to do with my car now having less back pressure?
