Hey i got a ? about stalling, my car starts goin fine and then the first stop sign i stop at which is 2 blocks away from my house i go to hit the gas and the car acts as there is no gas and then it all of sudden gets it gas and goes. anyone know how to fix this or anything, i am guessin it's with the fuel line or fuel pump unless it is the fuel injectors. i just put in fuel injector cleaner a lil while ago.

Did the car sit for any extended period of time? Is it worse when the motor is cold?
Did it start up one day or was it gradual?

As you can see, any relevant info you can provide will help.
Good luck.

also sometimes when it is cold, it almost sounds like it has a turbo kit on it, the way that they sound but like a lil quieter do you know what that would be? maybe that could be connected or diff.? sorry to overload ya with ?'s but you seem literate with stangs i see your posts all the time

My turbo made a very high-pitched whistle (a lesser version of what you hear from semi's as they go up a hill or get on it) when under moderate boost - is that the kind of noise you hear?

It could be the motor starving for air (due to the IAC not passing enough air when the motor is cold and the throttle is closed) - that will make a sucking of sorts just before stalling or near stalling. Basically the IAC is analogous to a choke when the motor is cold. If you have started a carb'd car with no choke before, the symptoms are very similar.

Though this article seems to be fox based, the systems are pretty congruitious. The pics and stuff might help with cleaning the IAC.

Good luck.
