Well it's official, I got my parking pass and I am going to have to start using it(didn't pay 60 bucks for nothing) so my stang is back on DD duty till I either find a beater or find a simple solution to my Buicks tranny problems.

But my dad is afraid I am going to speed and drive reckless, which I am not and thinks I will try to show off, being around my friends in a fast-for-me car so he just ordered a "carchip" It plugs into the diagnostic port and tells the top speed and accelleration rate and highest rpm, etc. It records up to 300 hrs of driving time, then can be plugged into a comp to determine what happened in that record time. Here it is, if he can't trust me, fine but He won't find anything surprising and its his money.

Any way to disable it without him knowing about it?

good thing your car is a 91, the "carchip" only works on OBDII cars, which is 96-up

lol I thought that was the case, I guess he didn't read it in detail, oh well.

I don't mind driving it but when I give ppl rides they jump out and that pisses me off, they touch my radio and ****. Plus I don't get really good gas mileage, maybe 18 on a good day. Oh well it will be fun at least. and its not like its going to snow. This weekend I am going badgeless so I'll take some pics b4 and after for yall.

Tell your friends that if they put one FOOT on your interior or jump out of it in a disrespectful manner ever again they'll be kicking rocks from now on. Rude, just....rude. My son's friends disrespected my car one time. They walk or get rides from the other parents now ....No more Stang for them.

It would have a blank spot on the chip where it was unplugged, it says like thet time and date something happened and if a day or time was missing they would know.

1 I don't like my dad being called a dumbass, it would be different if he was, but he just made a simple mistake, 2 he should trust me and he usually does but seeing how many kids are dying in GA cuz of street racing and being stupid, those ppl give a bad name for all teens.

IF NOT were keywords buddy, and it was more of generalization towards parents that are overly protective. one my friend had it that way, and it was/ is still ridiculous.

Be thankful you have a caring Dad. I lost mine when I was 15. He never got to see me drive except in a parking lot at his work.

Friday marks 1 year since my dad's death, but at 15 that had to suck. I was 26

Beast, I drove an 86GT Vert when I was your age man. People would do that to my car too. You gotta train them dude.

BTW, don't forget that if you take a turn too fast just 1 time, you have nothing over your head in that vert my friend and you will be SPLAT on the roadway. I've had some close calls myself
