Here's Kyle's (nagash01ws6) stang progress... primer is done!










Hre's a pic of my dad's new truck he got today..... had it delivered from South Carolina. It's a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 turbo diesel.
SO HOT!! (btw: trucks are both dirty so new pics are to come)

before anything, remove door handles, tailights, headlights, scoops, mirrors, etc.
1. use a DA (dual action) sander with 320 grit to get down to the primer (or deeper)
2. go back over it with 600 to smooth it out
3. wetsand it with 600 and make it smooth as a m'fer
4. wipe it down with lacquer thinner and get it completely clean
5. tape everything off (windows)
6. wipe it down again with lacquer thinner
7. prime it and give it a day to dry
8. wetsand with 600 to get rid of any drips and to make sure it's nice and smooth
9. base and clear

oh one quick question....do i need a sealer after priming? i just have regular primer that is caller primer/surfacer. thanks much for that info.
