Well now that the Mustang Project is coming close to an end, i need to start something new. My next project is a my old truck. Its a 2002 F-150 Lightning Clone. I got it back in 2001 and over the years in high school i put all the stuff on it, except the supercharged V8, hahah. I know you all are probably going to hate the on the truck, because it a clone, but in high school i couldn't afford the real thing.
I always liked the truck and my dad was going to trade it on a VW Beetle for my mom. They appraised it real low, so i told him i would buy it for what they wanted to give him for it. So now i got a 2002 F-150 with 22,000 miles to make into a full blown race truck.
Well anyways the idea for this truck will be a 351w based engine, low compression, tons of boost. The goal for the truck is 10.99 - 1/4 mile. Iv been doing a lot of research on turbomustangs.com for the exact combo, this truck will have top notch - show quality - workmanship done on it, unlike my mustang which seems kind of thrown together. I want it to be a nice ride when I'm done with it.
Well here are a few pics of how the truck sits, going to be a big transformation. wont be starting this project for a few months but just giving a heads up on the new project.
