I wanted to see him run it. No fun having that car when all it does is get dusty. Get some burnt rubber on the rear bumper then lets see the video.

I've sat in that thing. I go to that museum at least once a month, since it's like 15 minutes from me. Last time I was there, there was a sweet row of cars in the back, and a Mercury Topaz right in the middle of them all. I was a little confused.

It was just some kind of concept car to rival a Camaro that Chevy had made that was around the same displacement and HP figures.

read all about the BOSS
Mustang beating up on the
Chevy guys in the January
2000 issue of Car and Driver
magazine. There is no intent
of production for the BOSS
Mustang.

Thats the car Coletti used to drive over to the Chevy Performance Team leaders (john something) house and sit in his driveway and rev it up after work (they are friends) I have seen that car at a show...very sweet. They had that shootout in MMFF with a similar Camaro...Mustang won the 1/4 Camaro won the twisties...both were badass.

I've seen it in person when I lived in Detroit. It is one of the loudest street cars I have ever been around. A Ford engineer started it up and everyone standing near it jumped. There was a reving contest with the GTR concept which was actually louder. I'll see if I can find the pics.

edit: I found the pics. DUW http://forums.stangnet.com/showpost.php?p=4505537&postcount=2
