Just wanted to thank AFP/BOP for the hospitality and a great event. :nice: Food was excellent (great job Ray & Wally) the burnout was still entertaining even though you had to change it up this year (which I totally understand why). I'm sure the cruise was a blast along with the late night drags tonight.

I will post up some pictures later and hope others will too.;)

Thanks

Great time. Great food...thanks for the Korean selection Mrs. Chung. Excellent choice of path for the cruise....gotta love those 1-car only bridges. And, yes, the girls had the best burnout! The Ford GT was a nice sight as well!

Here are some pics and a couple vids of the burnouts.

Thanks to all who showed up! We had a great time again this year and the turn out was good. I think we had around 75 cars at 11 am when I counted and close to 30 went on the cruise. I am glad the guys from Krazy Koncepts and RRev Motorsports came. I enjoy the smack talk. The track was good even though it loked like rain. I think Misha and Steve ran new best times ? It was good to see some of the " car show " guys racing as well. Hope everyone had a good time:nice:

Mustang Wranglers would like to thank you guys  for putting on such a great event. Its nice to have events where people just get together, hang out, enjoy each others cars, get to know each other and have fun. Breaking the cruise up into two groups at the half was a great idea. One of our members, Clarence Baker (70 years old) also set a new personal best at PIR last night with his Blue 73 Mustang coupe. He ran a 13.3. Not bad for the largest mustang built. Thanks again for a great day guys.

Thank you Jeff, Jeff and Chung, and to everybody else that helped out. It turned out to be a pretty nice day. There was also alot of sweet cars. I didn't go on the cruise but I did go to the drags. It wasn't my best time but came close to it. But it was fun racing Misha, and still glad I never had to see her plate going down the track :rlaugh:, and for Jeff wanting misha to beat me, all I have to say is good luck on that 02 sensor in the contour :rlaugh: J/K I'm not laughing about it. See you all later. :nice:

What a fun event to attend. Thank you for putting it on. I met some really neat people and the food was great. :nice:

The burn out contest was fun to watch, but my new 2007 Grabber Orange / White striped GT500 Got coated with small particles of Burnt rubber fall out from all the smoke in the air. :bang: I tried to blow it off with an air compressor and wash it off just smeared it onto my finish. What a job to scrub that stuff of my car. After washing it 3 times and getting 75% of it off I detailed it with Ice from turtle wax and that cut right thru it. It took me over 2 hours to get that burnt rubber fall out off my new car.:damnit:

I too set a personal best last night at the track as well as my old man. Had a blast out there and only wish I could have been fortunate enough to have been to the rest of the event. Next year for sure!!!

Killer event guys! Thanks for hosting. I'm younger so its nice to have a show that isn't just older hotrods. Great cars, great guys doesn't get much better. That was my first cruise and haven't had that much fun in a while. Stuck with the slow group due to the restrictor plate (my nephew), but it was awesome! Looking ahead and behind with all those beautiful cars in a line. Oh yeah! Can't wait till next year!

The yellow roush next to you also got alot of hot rubber all over it. A small group of us drove back to the shop and I helped lisa and scott wash off all the rubber.

I would be very surprised if it just washed off. Look very close at the finish. You will see small black dots all over the car, and when you apply pressure to scrub them off...they just smear and stay stuck to the finish. The clear liguid Ice product (not the detailer spray) from Turtle Wax will take those dots right off. My entire car was covered with them.

To tell you the truth...it made me sick when I saw it, and I decided to not go on the cruz. :(
