So nothing yet huh? I was just up camping past cougar last weekend and that little store up there that we stop at burnt to the ground! Was nice swift is almost bone dry so we took the rubicon up to st helens...... well we were still about 20miles short of it, dam snow. peace

that sucks that the store burned down. that parking lot/driveway fills up fast when 30 cars show up at once! it would be nice to get a group together to go cruisin soon, even if it isn't an official Stangnet/AFP/BOP event.

The rumor is the owners set it on fire due to low business and they were loosing money left and right. It had changed owners 3 times in 4 yrs. Sucks for the hikers that look foward to gettin their hiking permits for St Helens there.


I would like to see one of the shops do something, whether it's Jeff or Alan..or even both would be cool. Put out a jar for those willing to help with the cost, and I think the proud 'Stang community would show their support.

In about a month my 91 will be done or atleast very close to done so I'll be looking forward to showing it off somewhere and AFP/BOP is a great place to do it considering it was originally built there. I've been the last couple of years and have had great times, would love to do it again.

+1 this stangnetter is willing to kick in a few bucks of support.
