The rumor is the owners set it on fire due to low business and they were loosing money left and right. It had changed owners 3 times in 4 yrs. Sucks for the hikers that look foward to gettin their hiking permits for St Helens there.
I would like to see one of the shops do something, whether it's Jeff or Alan..or even both would be cool. Put out a jar for those willing to help with the cost, and I think the proud 'Stang community would show their support.
In about a month my 91 will be done or atleast very close to done so I'll be looking forward to showing it off somewhere and AFP/BOP is a great place to do it considering it was originally built there. I've been the last couple of years and have had great times, would love to do it again.
