If you look under the car by the transmission (facing towards the engine)...it will be on the right of the trans up by the right side of the h-pipe where it connects to your headers...

It is held on by two bolts and has a couple connections to it...you will see it...

You got to replace it or something?

There is two bolts one on top then one on bottom. I think the size is 1/2 there is also a cap covering where the wire is connected. Pull of the cap then take a 1/2 wrench and undo the wire then pull the starter out.

it can be a pain to remove. i might try to further diagnose the issues at home (and in here) vs doing a bench test with it (if it has intermittant issues, a bench test might not show a fault).

good luck.

You sure it isn't just a battery or a malfunctioning (weaking) alternator?

yep - if a jump start makes it turn over (not even catch, but just turn over) that suggests the starter is fine and you dont have the amps (to include bad battery, connections, grounds, etc) to get the starter to do its thing.

good luck.

your charging system isn't functioning right...the relay is probably bad...or maybe a short somewhere...take it to a reputable auto electric shop if it isn't a relay problem...good luck...
