when i try to start my 90 i get a buzz from the solenoid, i noticed a lead coming from my + battery that wasn't connected to anything, does this connect to the solenoid and if it does where. or do i just need a new solenoid

One side of the battery (the + side) should go to one side of the selniod, the other side should have a cable (thick wire) running to the starter itself. In the middle of the selnoid is a small wire (usualy red) that is from the ignition.
