So as the title suggests, I have acquired a 98 GT that hasn't been run since 2009. It was parked due to a blown rearend. The car has a little over 100k on it and it remarkably original. Any advice on what to due to get it running again? I'm thinking about pulling the plugs and oiling the cylinders. Going to use a sprayer connected to the oil pressure sensor to build oil pressure. What about the fuel system? Clean tank? Replace fuel filter? Any thoughts? Thanks.

For the very first start, just to see if it fires...

Disconnect the pressure line from the fuel rail and pump any gas that remains in the tank into a container. This will let you know all you need to know about the condition of the tank and the fuel that's in it.

Run the pump by jumping it at the (ccrm)Constant control relay module connector 192 in the diagram below, by jumping pin 11-yellow wire and pin 5-dark green and yellow wire.

If you think there might be water in there, you might pull the plugs and look. Otherwise, I wouldn't do any of this until it fired off and idled for a couple of minutes.

No critters in the intake tract or exhaust? - check
Got oil in it? - check
Water in it? - check
We got spark? - check
We got some new fuel to send? - check

Fire in the hole! :cross:
