I think that my starter on my modified GT is either OOC or could it be some thing else? Problem I have is the vehicle will not start when I turn the key. I don't hear any sounds and I know the battery is good due to we tried a jump start and no start up. I believe it is the starter due to when I changed the cams it requires a longer time to start up. Any suggestions on this be apprecative.

When you turn the key, can you hear a 'click'? This is the starter solenoid. If you do not hear a click, then it may be as simple as replacing that solenoid. If you do hear a click, then pull off the starter and have your local parts store test it.

what I can tell it doesn't have any sounds when you turn the key. So a new solinoid be required?

Sounds like the solenoid may be your problem. I honestly don't know where the solenoid is located on the newer mustangs. My 88 has the solenoid on the drivers side fender apron.

On my 01 it was on top of the starter,and the same on my 04 mach.
