Hello,
My sons car recently died while he was driving it. We towed it home, and I ran the "Crank and no start check list". I have spark, power to the computer, power to the injectors, power to the fuel pump relay, but with the original relay, had no power coming back out.
I replaced the relay, and now have 6 volts coming out of the relay. You can also hear the relay click on and off, but the fuel pump still won't prime. You can also hear the EEC relay click when you turn the key to the run position.
Do I have an issue with the ignition switch?
Have any of you had a similar issue?
What do I check next?
A little back ground. Car was converted to 5.0 using the engine/trans and SD injection system/computer. We changed it to Mass Air using the instructions posted here on Stangnet. Used a 70mm MAF sensor, and A9P computer.
Car actually runs better with the MAF unplugged, and I never could get the car to do a cylinder balance test.
Thanks in advance.
