so who has it? It has the "look" I'm looking for but how is it in terms of sound and performance. Ideally I want something that isn't obnoxiously loud, just more aggressive then stock but no drone or deafening sound, I've played that game for years and I'm not about to start again on it.

Thanks!

Here you go sir.

Steeda Axle-Back: http://youtube.com/watch?v=cOo7TEIdJYE
Steeda Axle-Back + Pypes O/R-H: http://youtube.com/watch?v=uHwSjTxRNIA

I've been told by several local people that I've got "the best sounding S-197". Not to sound cocky but those videos do the setup no justice.

Your best bet is to get them directly from Steeda. They've got an excellent warranty as well, call up and speak to Pat Kinder. Tell him Anticubicle sent you, he'll take good care of you

Ok so I bit the bullet and bought the kit.

It looks GREAT!, I wanted an open tube style exhaust because it has the least amount of backpressure and the non rolled angle cut tips are just what I like!

It sounds awsome........ on the outside.

On the inside it has a tendency to drone quite a bit and on long trips ( i drive 60+ miles a day) it kinda gets to ya. has anyone found a way to insulate the trunk better, dynamat etc. etc.? I love the exhaust I wouldn't want to get rid of it because of headaches!

Thanks

Dynamat will make a difference.
There are times I drive mine 30+ miles with the windows down and never have the stereo turned on. I love the sound of my Flows&O/R H

I found them to be just fine with just the mufflers, I will admit that it does get annoying sometimes with the O/R-H.

I'm going to invest in some dynamat for my trunk

hmm maybe if we all pooled together we can convince some of these vendors to setup a nice group buy?

Asked my G/F today to get me a quote from a shop since she was getting a radar detector hardwired in her 350Z, dynamatting the trunk will run about 150-200 done professionally I'll need to shop around or do it myself.

You can definitely do it yourself man. You don't need top grade dynamat and it's easily installed, just be careful b/c that stuff can cut your fingers up.

If you end up doing it before me, plz let me know the SQ. Foot you needed to do the trunk.

Hay guys just a thought, the cargo mat lowers the sound by a few db, and looks good too!
