What is "Billet" Aluminum anyways? something like those swaybar brackets could be machined by any machinist with a regular metal lathe or CNC. Is "Billet" Aluminum something you can just walk into the metal-gettin' place and say "Gimme some Billet Aluminum!" Or would they look at you funny?!
Just get some upgraded bushings, like energy suspension hyperflex. - about $14.00 bucks each.
The thing about aluminum is, when pushed to its limits, it breaks, whereas steel will bend. Neither bending or breaking is good...but bending is better.

Oh, yeah I plan to. I saw last night that the stock bushings have like 1/8" of daylight all the way around the swaybar so I'm debating between Steeda Tubular front Swaybar (which comes with regular polyurithane bushings) and keeping the stock swaybar, just buying Energy Suspension polyurithane bushings with the grease fittings... I can't decide. I think I'm leaning towards the Steeda front swaybar and then finding a stock 30MM Cobra rear swaybar. Any suggestions to tilt the scales? I am 100 times more interested in handling than ride quality btw.
The largest OEM rear swaybar for solid axles is 27mm solid. I have that one and I really like it, the bar is around $90 from Ford. I matched this with a 03/04 Cobra front 28mm hollow.
