There have been previous threads on Steeda pricing but I have a real GRIPE (Steeda - you can read this as COMPLAINT) about Steeda Canada and their deceptive and fraudulent pricing practices.

In March I arranged with them to purchase several items including the Billet Strut Tower Brace. In advance I told the Account Manager that their website price listed US$249.00 for it and that I expected to receive that price, not the $320.00 price that Steeda US lists on their site. I was assured by email that they would honor the lower price and that they were not doing a bait-and-switch on me. Well, when the goods shipped I was charged the higher price and then received the following response from their Account Manager:
"No worries I didn't realize that it was on our site that had the price difference!! I will of course honor that price that is listed, and by no means were we trying to pull a "fast one" on you or any one for that matter. I am sorry for the confusion and will adjust the price accordingly!! My apologies once again!"
Since then I have been trying to get the $70 credit posted to my account. I have sent several email messages requesting the credit and accounting for the charges and have spoken to them, including the Vehicle Program Manager several times by phone, always with their PROMISE of taking care of this. They are lying to me and will lie to you also. I am going to claim this as fraud on my credit card with the backup documentation I have from them. They have just changed the price on their site in the last few days to cover up their dishonesty.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE GUYS AS THEY WILL CHEAT YOU!
