Anyone have a STEEDA Cat-back?
I think it is looking a bit over rated if you ask me. The price is $550 and looks like its only 2.5" wide exhaust. I was kind of looking for 3" exhaust.

Anyone have soundclips of a STEEDA Cat-back or BORLA "Stingers"?
How about pictures?

steeda uses borla muffs in their catback, it should sound exactly the same, just better looking tips than those "phantoms"

"phantoms"? WTF is that?

And does the borla sound the same/similar to the Borla "Stingers"?

And "should sound exactly the same" as what?

the phantoms are the tips that come on the borla cat-back and they look like ass imo, and they dont sound the same as the stingers, they are the mufflers that come on the regular borla catback, which is much quieter than the stinger, or so ive heard, ive heard the regular in person but not the stinger

Anyone got price quotes or a link to the Borla Stingers? I def want loud exhaust.

And was going to go with SLP...but i think it might be a BIT much to go from stop light to stop light at a roll...sounding like im at WOT when im really not

Links, soundclips of Stingers? And regular STEEDA Borla's?

for the record...i take it the regular borla catback is the same as the STEEDA cat-back then?

Only difference being that when u order the borla from steeda it says "steeda" on the muffler...

I have the Steeda Cat-Back with UPR o/r X and I really like the sound. High quality exhaust imo! The tips look sweet too! If your willing to spend the money on it, you won't regret it.

I like mine, especially with the magnaflow catted x-pipe. There is no need to run a 3" exhaust unless you are considering some serious boost down the road.

Yeah well they only make magnapacks and SLP in 3.5" exhaust. So its not really a choice. You can not get them in 3" (can't get the SLP in 3" anyway).

I think you guys are getting confused with the size of the piping and the size of the tips. The magnaflow catback, as with most catbacks, the piping is 2.5" in size (mandrel bent so no narrow spots) and the tips only are 3.5" in size.

no i knew that. Maybe they didn't know?
But i still think the 3.5" tips are a bit much...
