Sup,

I'm looking to buy some lowering springs for my 96 Cobra. I'm debating as to which brand springs I should get. I want my car to alteast lower 1.5" if not 2". Anyone have any suggestions as to what brand I should go with? Pictures would be appreciated to. Thanks a lot!

This is my understanding....

FMS springs- 3/4-1" drop with ??? decrease in ride "quality"
Steeda sport springs- 1-1.25" drop with minimal decrease in ride "quality"
Eibach springs- 1.5-2" drop with a substantial decrease in ride "quality"

I am installing Steedas in my 98 Cobra this weekend, you can never go wrong with Steeda, but it sounds like Eibachs may work better for you, keep in mind...your gonna be LOW, with your body kit that may be a factor.

Good Luck!

I have Eibach Pro Kits and they squeek like no tomorrow, I still have the stock spring insulator things on them and they still squeek...it drives me nuts...its LOUD. It gets embarrassing after a while....the sad thing is I don't think this is the case for all Eibach's...my buddy has the whole setup and his don't squeek at all..

Whats the deal with H&R....never heard of them...??

Hmmm ... It's gonna be between Steeda and H&R obviously.

I also vote for H&Rs, I run the Super Sport springs on my cobra and couldn't be happier.
