It all depends on what your goal is for the car. Honestly, I love Steeda products but I believe the same can be achieved if not better going different routes and save you some coin in the process. Start off by buying either a drop in K&N Filter or cheap CAI and get a dual exhaust system, you will see some gains and the exhaust is worth the sound, looks and gains.

well i already have a k&n air filter
but the power pack comes with steeda cold air intake, performace chip, and an underdrive pully, sounds like a good deal to build on. What do yall think?
Well a CAI will help, but I would go with a JLT instead or something similiar, basically the inlet tube is plastic. The chip, I'm not so sure on a stock V6 at this point. The U/D pulleys are definately a worth wild mod.
I looked it up and for the price it might be a worth while package. The thing in my opinion is that you can find a CAI that will do close to the same for under a 100 bucks. The performance chip is probably good but it's just a basic tune. You could get a hand held tuner granted they are around 300 dollars but would offer you more for the money.
With that in conclusion, it's somewhat of a crap shoot. I would only expect to see about 20 or so hp increase at the flywheel. It will wake the car up a bit.
Gears by far would be the most noticeable and significant mod besides a cam or power adder. The chip, you would need to find out exactly what that have done to it. My guess is that the governor would still be the same for safety precautions unless you specifically order it without one. It's probably more so a timing advance tune.
Most chips will let you correct for aftermarket gear ratios- check the Steeda website.
Why would you want to remove the governor? Unless you've made some major changes to your valvetrain, it's there for a reason.
Personally, I think the Steeda power pack is more about selling more Steeda parts than it is about getting the most bang for the buck. A pulley and gears are the two most cost-effective mods for giving the car more spunk. Of course, to correct the speedo after doing the gears, you can either install a correction circuit like the one from Dallas Mustang, or you can go all the way and get a tuner (which will add some HP but will also require premium gas in the process). Unless you're getting an absolutely killer package deal, it's almost better to find deals along the way and do the mods one at a time.
yea the gears are deffinently comming first then exaust probably, and ill just see where it goes from there. As far as the governor goes i just dont want restrictions yea know.
