I got a quote for $120.00 install on the springs, and a recommendation to get the C/C Plates with the install. First, is that a decent price, and second do I really need the C/C Plates for a 1-1/2" drop? Everything I've read says I don't need them, but would it be a good investment to just go ahead and get it done with the spring install? Thanks guys.

Go to mustangworld.com and look up the How-to's. They tell you how to do it yourself. To make it easier, go and rent a spring compression tool from autozone along with the strut compression tool. You get your money back so it's worth it.

As for C/C plates, if you want the car to track properly and don't want to burn out your tires, I would recommend them.

just do it yourself....VERY EASY...i have the same springs on my 04 gt...i did it with a buddy of mine in a couple hours...it can be done in less time if you dont BS around during the install heheh...camber caster plates? you wont need them unless you decide to go lower. i still have the stock ones on.

i'm going to be putting these springs on my cousins car tomorrow. trust me and everyone else, a spring install is not a hard project at all.ive been through several so far, just take your time, follow the how-to here on stangnet and you'll be in great shape.as far as the c/c plates go, drive it for a few days get an alignment and see how close to specs. they can get it and if its too far off, buy the c/c plates.
