Ok, I found a Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter Brand New for $163.00. Is this a good price? Also If I buy this what else would I need to go with it? Dod I need any other mods first? Gears? Anything?

Tri-ax was my first mod, too. Great first mod. I'd get some sort of Permatex sealer to reseal after you put the new shifter on. Checker has it. Decent price, too.

Great shifter..price is in the norm...good luck and enjoy.
Other mods on list...GEARS....GEARS....GEARS....to me that was the best investment for the money

www.kmodifiedracing.com has it for a special price of only $149.99. That is the lowest I have ever seen it. They also have great prices on the gears if you decide to go that route also.

EDIT:
Their website is currently under construction, and you will have to email them if you are interested at domestics@kmodifiedracing.com. It's worth it though for the savings they offer!!

Thats a decent price. If you dig around you can get them a bit cheaper but some of these places will get it back by charging you full tilt on freight cost. The get huge discounts on that stuff, By the way, do your gears, then exhaust next. Torque is where its at first, then horspower. Nothing matters unless you can get it to the rear wheels as quick as possible.
