It's simple. The shifter can stay in the car. All your doing is disconecting the arm that goes from the bottom of the Steeda shift lever to the transmission, installing a bracket and bolting it back up. I would only see it taking you a couple minutes.

I know, but I gotta pull mine to send it back into steeda to be repaired. Which meane either 1) I go back to the stock shifter or 2) don't drive it for a couple of weeks. AAAAND since my SLP LM's are going to be here in 2 days I'll be re-installing the factory shifter:D
