I have an 86GT. I'm doing a 5 lug conversion. I bought 94 spindles and brakes along with the rear axle too. Can i use this ball joint? . On there site it says 87-93 stangs can use this as long as they have the cobra brake kit. I have the stock 94 brakes so i'am in the clear? thanks.

Car is stock right now but I'm putting in H&R race springs which should lower it about an inch. I'm planning on setting the car up for road racing. Just wondering if i could use this balljoint since mine right now are worn out.

It should work, but it won't be necessary by design. It won't really make any difference, not all they crack ot up to be. However, if yours are shot anyway and you want them, go head I guess. It's just a lot of money to pay for a balljoint that's kindof a gimmic. Now, if you were getting an aftermarket K member, an offset steering rack, and solid/poly bushings all through the front end, they may be a little more justified- but it's arguable.

It will :D. You may notice, however, that MM doesn't sell modified ball joints- evidently they don't think they're necessary either. If you get their K-member, you may as well get the control arms too- which come with them loaded anyway.
