Steel Tubing to AN fitting?

I have some 3/8 tubing that I am going to use for my fuel system, and I was wondering how do I use it with my pump, regulator, filter, and cell?

I have 6AN to 3/8 NPT adaptors on the parts, then the tube sleeves, then the 6AN tube nuts?

I just want to make sure before I end up spending $30 on fittings and get the wrong ones.

The AN fittings require a 37 degree flaring tool to make a proper flare. Last time I checked, the 37 degree tools started at $75 and went up in price from there. However, a Google search shows that Summit has them. Summit 900311 Flare Tool, Single, 37 Degree Flare, $32 + $10 for shipping and handling.

A shop that fabricates hydraulic hose assemblies may be able to flare the fittings or point you to a cheaper solution.

I think I'll just get the flaring tool from summit, thanks for the info!

So the stuff I bought is correct?

yes. I double flared my fuel line when i installed it.

That was what I was going to do... I got a single/double flare tool laying around... but I guess I'll get the 37* flare tool and do it right.

i never knew that there was a specific tool for the an fittings. I never had an issue with leaks when i used my normal flare tool and double flaired it.
