I have a 65 mustang p/s and am trying to determine if the the steering box is centered. Seems like the wheel turns a little more from center to right lock then center to left. Don’t know if a previous owner removed wheel and replaced it in wrong position to center steering instead of getting alignment. Anyway, is their a index mark on the steering shaft that can be seen when the wheel is removed. Or can you remove the top plate of the steering box and visibly see. Thanks in advance for any info
