Steering colome bad

I beleave my steering colome is out of a wrecked car, and was wondering if someone could tell me how much it would cost to get a new one, also is there a way to tell if the one in the car is accually stock from the car?

Are you talking about the steering gearbox, or the interior column that covers the turn signal and horn wiring?

the column it self, it two short, its almost ripping the ragjoint apart.
