So my steering rack bushings are shot on my 00 GT. The front suspension is very noisy and clunks when turning. My question is should I go with standard or offset polyurethane rack bushings? My car is lowered and I hear different things on both. I know on offset bushings the center hole is offset in order to compensate for the rack & arms relationship to be parallel again but then ive heard that they can rotate and change the rack and arms relationship even more and increase bumpsteer. Should I just go with standard bushings and then get a bumpsteer kit to eliminate it? Or do offset and the kit as well? Any help is appreciated.
