Can these be bought at the parts store? My rack is the original and for some reason if I turn to full lock the tire rubs the A-arm. I have stock 225 60r 15s on factory turbines.

James, the dealer should have them cheap (if you got a dealer nearby. Probably not).

You can get them off ebay (shipping isnt too bad in some cases, at least last time I checked).

Yeah 5.0 resto has them cheap. Our local Ford dealer shut down so I guess ordering is the way to go. Do the racks have them on there from the factory and they just wear out or what. I am trying to figure where the extra travel in my steering came from. The rack is good and tight no slop and no leaking.

Yes they do come from the factory with them installed, you may have broke one and that is the reason it is now rubbing.

How hard are they to install? Don't you just pull the tie rod end boot back and they snap on somewhere?

You Got it. I just put some on last week to get the correct travel out of my SN95 rack, very easy job.

Believe it or not the hardest part is jacking the front end up so the you can crawl under the car and be able to turn the tires.

Raise the car so that the tires are off the ground, loosen the clamp on the bellows
(it's the rubber looking hose) slide the bellows back turn the wheel to one side as far as they'll go and slide the new limiter in, do the same thing to the other side, slide the bellows back in place tighten the clamp lower your car back to the ground.

My guess the total process is take you less than 10 mins.

Ford calls them Travel restrictors ( part # 21) everyone else seems to call them rack limiter

This is what you'll be getting

This is where they'll fit.
