Steering Rack Problem

So I installed a Team Z K member and finished up the rest of my suspension stuff this weekend on my '89. However for some reason I have hardly no threads on my rack going into my outter tie rod end on the drivers side. There's probably an inch or so threaded into the tie rod end. The passenger side has plenty though. I turned my wheel just to make sure it was centered and not offset to one side versus the other. And I get 3 turns either way lock to lock. I am running a power steering rack. The same rack that I ran on my stock K member. Really dont want to go out and spend the money on a bumpsteer kit. Is there any longer tie rod ends out there for another year mustang or something that I could use to solve this problem? I am alraedy using offset rack bushings but they are in the 6 O'clock position. I could turn them to offset it towards the drivers side but that isnt going to give me much though. Any help would be great.
