damn, at this point my 100$ deductabile will be comming in very handy, I DONT MESS WITH AIR BAGS (bad experiance once) and i still cant spell right

As for the airbags, just disconnect your battery. Disconnect the negative cable first then the postitive and wait like 2 minutes. I think I read that in a haynes manual actually but that's how 'disable' them. I've had some bad experiences with airbags too. They never deploy when they should and always deploy when it's unnecessary, so it seems.

So did the bar break inside the cab? Down by your feet? Or did it break on the outside of the car (through firewall side)? I've never heard of such a thing.

How fast were you going when you tried to make the u-turn?

By U-turn do you mean, "I was drifting around a corner, and lost control and hit a curb, and it snapped!" ?

ya when I bought the car, I opped for that extra coverage bullsh** for 2 more grand, IT finally paid off, the only thing is I live in Sacramento , and the warrenty company is in Pennsylvania, this is gonna be fun.....DAMN THE MAN
