Is anyone aware of an alignment mark on the steering wheel and steering shaft that should be matched to properly align the steering wheel spoke down. So as an example if I have 4 turns full left to full right, two tuns should should center the the front wheels. If they are not is a tie rod adjustment. Is there a mark on the shaft that should match the steering wheel in that position. I cant find one on the steering wheel.

The early years do have a mark but i dont remember if the 69 does .
The drag link and steering box should be centered before alignment . The tie rods should be brought into alignmen together side for side ,if one side is left longer than the other the steering will have a shorter throw from one side to the other. Once the alignment is finished and you are satisfied you have an equal turn radius ,then you can center the steering wheel
