So, I’m in need of a replacement steering wheel. I have the parchment interior, so finding a “new” wheel is next to impossible. My question is, if I find a wheel that isnt listed as having cruise control, could my original cruise control buttons be moved to the non-cruise wheel? I can’t tell from most photos if the mounting tabs are there on non-cruise wheels. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Junkyard Steering Column? Just remember whatever key that comes with it will be new and need to be programmed to your computer for PATS unless you have it disabled.

I’m looking to replace just the wheel itself.

in the photo, the 2 mounting tabs are what I’m curious about. Would a non cruise wheel have the tabs?

I can't say for sure, but I imagine they would all have the same mounting points, as the steering wheel part number is the same for a base V6 as it is for a GT Premium. At least, it is from 1999 through 2004.

Looks like no

I searched Ebay for wheels that didn't have cruise, and looks like they do not have the mounting tabs. The plastic trim at the rear also doesn't have the cutouts for the wiring, but that's an easier issues to solve.
