Steering wheel shake

What would cause your steering wheel to shake while cruising down the road, I thought that I had a warped wheel, but replace it with a new one and the wheel still has a slight shake. Wheels have been blanced and the front end aligned, new tires, it also did this before new tires and alignment, it has eibach pro kit lowering springs, stock shocks and struts, could a warped rotor cause this?? anyone got any ideas, thanks

Rotor is my guess....had the same prob before on another car...I would get two new ones and do the brakes should go away if that is the cause of your problem

you might not have to replace the rotor a lot of times it can just be resurfaced for less then 50 bucks at an auto shop... they have a machine for it... it takes a layer off the rotor and pulls any warped spots out of it.

Replacing the front struts has been the only thing that has worked in my experience. Of course, check to make sure you don't have a bent/out of balance wheel or rotor, but worn out shocks are common, and cause the wheel to "bounce" down the road instead of smoothly following the contours of the pavement. This "bouncing" will cause vibration in the steering wheel, especially at higher speeds.
