Steering Wheel

I have a 2005 Mustang GT and for some reason my steering wheel has twisted in a way. The best way to explain it is that when I am driving straight my steering wheel looks like I'm taking a slight left hand turn. When I straighten out the wheel my car turns to the right.

My question is this: is this covered under warranty? If not, how would I go about fixing this? I don't trust any dealers in my area here at LSU, but I do trust my dealer back in Houston VERY well. The problem with bringing my car in when I'm in Houston is that I only have from Wednesday-Sunday off for Thanksgiving...

Any input/advice is much appreciated!

Like ruffy said take it to a good alignment shop, they can adjust the steering wheel position. I had this problem with my 5.0 after I had the alignment done and they didnt adjust the steering and center was slightly to the right.

Crap! I just got one done too :(

Maybe that is part of the problem. Did you notice if the steering wheel was off center immediately after the alignment? Does the car pull to the left or right on a straight, uncrowned stretch of road? When they align the car, wherever the wheel is positioned is going to be straight ahead. if the wheel isn't actually centered, it is going to be off until someone corrects it.

My steering wheel was off before I got the alignment done. When my car is going straight it keeps going straight, it's just that the steering wheel is turned a little to the left (enough to REALLY annoy me).

Sounds like the tech may not have set the wheel exactly straight ahead when he did the alignment. If it were me I'd be inclined to take it back, especially if it has been this way since the alignment was done.
