Mike that you? Hows seattle treating you? I already have the stereo and I ordered the speaker interface and harness. I'm on third shift now so Its alittle harder to budget my time with all the choirs and such.
Vanc. wa. sound's like your a drive from me? It sound's like you might be installing it into a 460 system and you got the harness? So it's preaty simple i did mine it comes with directions all you need is a pair of wire striper's/crimper's and some butt connector's, the wire's on the connector and the factory harness plug's in togother so all you got to do is fallow the diagram on the radio to the diagram on the new harness. I did mine to the radio first then took it out plugged it into the factory harness and pushed in the deck done! The only problem you might have is getting the stock radio out? You should get metal coat hanger and cut 2 piece's out of it about 4" long. Then instal the piece's into the 2 little holes on the side of the stock radio and pry outward's slightly as you pull that side out then go and do the same on the other side. If you have someone to help you it's eaiser cause then both of you can do a side at the same time witch makes it much eaiser you'll just have to cut 4 piece's instead of only 2. Let me know and i can kinda help you threw here if ya need to? peace
Yea it's me...
Like john said its not that hard.
I also did mine, all I can say it take your time and think things out.
What all are you installing just a radio or you doing the big speakers and the Boom booms in the back.
I pm you, Later
I'm just installing a kenwood KDC-MP5028 HU scosche amplifier adapter so that I can use the HU with the stock speakers. Maybe later on I might put a single sub in the trunk but I'm not in any rush right now. What do you have in your car?
