Wherever they need me

I was away from home (no tools) and got to get my GT'00 into a Ford Service Shop to replace the transmission filler tube o-ring and the oil filter adaptor gasket.

As I took the car on the street, I noticed the front suspension was so stiff, it feels almost solid! When the car got into the shop it was OK. I asked the shop people if they did something to the front suspension (proactive adjustment or something) but they said NO. We got the car up and checked all bolts and nut and there were no signs of being touched (all dirt was in place, no tooling marks whatsoever.)

I don't know if front shocks can fail in this mode (stiffen.)

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks!
