Still no power to the coil ..No start

I have troubleshoot the crap out of this.. Everything i test is saying its good. SO I started changing parts. Thiis is what I have done so far and no change.

1. changed all the fuses (all of them)
2. Changed the ignition control module
3. changed the ignition switch
4. i even bought an OBD code reader and there is no powr to the reader.

Do you guys have any idea what this could be?? Please help..

Due to go to the Tune shop Friday and I don't want the shop to have to find it or that will cost me..

TFI module or the PIP sensor thats inside the dist.

Give us a rundown of what all systems do not work. You noted the codes are unpullable - that suggests an even deeper issue. (You did put a battery in the reader, right? Sorry, but I had to since time is of the essense).

fuse # 18 20Amp in the instrument fuse panel is the fuse for the ign coil positive.

Red/LtGreen wire also goes to the Hall Effect sensor(in distributor), the TFI and the Radio ign suppressor.

but should still allow you to read codes.

ROTFLMAO: Ok a little about me, A&P aviation mechanic and inspector for over 20years and worked on everything major and minor flying.. But, I was to damn stupid to read all the instruction and see if the code reader needed Freakin BATTERIES!!!!!

Ok guys I put batteries in the Code Reader and still nothing on the EEC side. So just to make sure I was doing it right I went over to the Anti-lock side and tested that system and got 111 <<< which means good.

Now the last thing for me to do is to pull the EEC and see if the SCT switch chip slipped off or see if my computer (EEC) is fried. Guys have you ever seen this before?

The car turns over very strong but no fire.. This would happen with a tune appointment around the corner..

also, some chips won't allow you to read codes.

Unless the chip burner modified a checksum, you should see a ROM error code (what is it - 511? I think so).

I'd start doing good old fashioned manual testing. We can outline the pathways if there's interest in pursuing it.

Ok, I found the Problem.. I take off my Kick panel to access the computer and start moving the wires to see if I can get the EEC code and a connector just disconnects.

Apparently when I installed my SCT chip I didn't push the connector in far enough to lock.. Reconnected it and VROOMMMMMMMMMMM. Now for a quick rebuild on my pax side turbo and off to the shop..
