I know I know, I keep changing my mind. But I went to take pics today and I really hate them. The kits looks good on other cars, when I look at some pics. I just cant stand it anymore on my car. Doesnt "FIT". I want the stock look. So if I can sell it for what it will cost me in paintjob, I'll be happy. I'll most likely put it up for sale for 500$ on the GTAMC.

Thanks Brent. I'm telling you man, I want it off big time. The thing is, I never knew that they were gonna use urethane directly on the car. That was an insurance job. I could propably complain and get them to do it again, saying this WASNT the way it was when I originally brought it there. I never approved this. What do you think ?

while I can see where it would be a pain, I'd still keep it if I were you. I find it looks real good on your car.

btw man, sorry I didn't get a chance to call you, been busy all night with the packing, and now its kinda late (and cold) to cruise around. Tomorrow?

I dont think it looks good anymore.
It's OK for tonight. I was just watching a movie anyway. Tomorrow then, if it doesnt rain.

You are just overly critical of your own car. It looks good, count on it. Don't make me have another poll about it .

Weather says rain this aft... and holy crap is it ever cold for this time of year!

I dont need people to tell me that my car looks good. It's just the feeling that I got about it. No need for another poll.

I know its pretty cold. I sleep with just a little crack in the window and I wake up a little bit cold. Stunning...

UPDATE

Well I just returned from the bodyshop who did the work on my stang last summer. Told him I was changing the bodykit for another one. I mentionned that I was looking forward to take it off the other day but I noticed "black stuff" (urethane) all under the kit. He says that it will go off with some "efface" of some kind, without scrapping the paint. I might need a buff job after though..No biggie as long as the paint is ok and not chipped. I'm missing the "end part of the rocker panel" for each side. Its the little plastic part between the front wheel and the door. I'm just waiting for a response from some guy on the GTAMC forums. He had those spare parts last February, and they were even removed from a sapphire blue stang ! As soon as I get those parts, the kit is going.

The guy said to do it myself but I said I wasnt gonna touch anything that they worked on because of the warranty

I think the body kit doesnt go with the wheels and tires you have (skinnies?). A set of chrome Cobra R's in 17 or 18" form would look killer

Exactly. With the Welds, there's really something wrong. Stock look would be perfect.
A set of 17"chrome 03 wheels DID look killer..remember ?

oh lol... do you still have the "street" tires? Maybe just switch at the track? I dunno... You could sell the body kit but IMO the "dragster look" is better on a more simple car design like *cough* fox body notch *cough*... But I do eat Nestly Quick on my poutins (when drunk) so don't take any of my opinions too seriously :freak: hehe

Can you take the kit off without breaking it? That would be a PITA if that would happen. Your car looks great, just stop looking at it so much

[THREAD HIJACK]
I once started cooking rice when I was drunk. Then I added onions. My roommate suggested that chocolate and peanut butter taste good in reese's pieces, so they must taste good with rice too. Not only did we eat it but we thought we touched on something new and inventive.

Till the next day, where we threw up for 5 hours straight

The 17" wheels have been sold for a few months now. Otherwise, I'd only be running the Welds at the track.

I still could be running on my V6 wheels, which are ugly as hell. But I wont do that.

And yes,I can take the kit off without breaking it. The problem is while taking it off, will I damage the paint on my "real" bumpers/sideskirts ? Thats the issue.

By the way, got your message, didn't want to return it too late though. I'm not heading up to Toronto anytime soon. Sorry man.

Oh yeah, and I just hijacked your thread again.
