I'm a new member and I barely got the car its a 94 Mustang GT and was wondering what the stock typical 1/4 mile would be for these yearswith a good driver and 5 speed? I have a lot to learn and so I will probably start posting alot of stupid questions but hey I have to learn some how right. WEll before I got the Stang I had a Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX AWD Turbo which I loved and still wish I had that thing pulled like crazy it had simple mods to it just free mods and 3 in exhaust system with a MBC (manual boost controller) it was running i would probably say a low low 13 some of the cars it smoked was a 91 5.0, 99 Z28, SRT-4, and lost to a TT RX7 but enough about that just post some completely stock numbers or some basic bolt ons like an intake and exhaust thanks.

Welcome. The Mustang takes a little getting used to launching out the gate (no more rev it to the moon and let AWD carry you away), but once you master it I'd guess a mid 14 to be pretty good for bone stock. Good luck....

Yea a mid 14 would be good but I dont think these can get a mid 14 bone stock amybe with an intake and exhaust? But acrtually the Eclipses are not high rev engines u shift almost at the same point i think but i shifted at 6k every gear.

I had a 92 the 1g 7 bolt motor and was probably running like 25 psi stock which is crazy ur only supposed to run 17 psi max stock but hey it did no damage it was bad ass!!!

Damn!!! just a flowmaster and thats it? Thats crazy what did u launch at and what type of tires were you using and shift points?

I was leaving at about 2k and slipping the clutch while rolling into the throttle. Speed shifted 2nd and 3rd around 5k rpm. Just recently found out that my tach is a little further off then what I thought, so your going to have find your shift points. Definitly do the "10 min" tune up. Helps a ton....
