I was wondering if anyone knew what the stock 1/4 time for a 2001-2002 Mustang Gt CONVERT. With an automatic transmission? And what there city and hwy mpg is for you not what the dealership says, that is if you drive it like a 100 year old. Also what are some good mods that will put you into the mid 13 second range without effecting the mpg much. B/c I currently have a 11 sec 1992 Gt and I am getting about 7mpg in the city and it is my daily driver and gas is just to expensive. Thanks

I would say 13.4-14.8 for a stock car, you would need gears, exhaust, and a few bolt-ons to run mid 13's.

well i have seen a stock 5spd vert run 14.0 @ 98 w/2.0 60' @ about 600' DA and it could have easily gone a 13.99 with a few more passes. I would think an auto can get within a couple tenths of that.

For mid 13's
midpipe
pullies
4.10s
custom chip(speedo recalibration, timing, fuel, firm up the shifts and shift points)
air filter
Drag radials or stock tires with some good driving

and ditch the factory subframes and get some full lengths welded in

Since you don't really want gears because of gas mileage....just go full exhaust, pullies, T/A, plenum, DR's, etc...or you can always go supercharger

I have a 2002 GT 5-speed, and did a 14.1 in the 1/4 mile, when it was stock.

I have a 2002 GT 5-speed and the best time I got was 14.1 in the 1/4 mi, and the only mod I had was 40 series flowmasters.
