It wont hurt anything to install one of those heavy duty chromoly oil pump driveshafts in a stock 351W, will it? I am using a new OEM oil pump. I figure it is better safe than sorry to use the heavy duty part, as I hear stories of the stock driveshaft breaking. I dont want to do it if it could cause problems, however. Thanks.

No, it's just added insurance. I bought an ARP oil pump driveshaft for my 302....the stock shaft was puny.

Yeah, I noticed my stock one is pretty small too. The chromoly from FRPP looks pretty solid. Thanks for the quick reply.

TTT Any other recommendations? I can't order one until Wednesday in any case. Keystone has to have it in stock in order for me to place an order. Odd setup.
