Stock Front Control Arms. What Years Are Different?

The 94+ contoll arms are different, but all fox control arms are the same.

Have you ever done this before??? That easy? The bushings were not meant to ever come out, ford recomends selling them as a unit. Not worth it IMO, and I work in a shop. It was a real PITA, aftermarket A arms are worth it considering the time and effort, money spent, and weight. I spent a little over $100 for new poly bushings, ball joints, and paint. The old bushings didn't just press out. Took lots of "masaging" with an air chissel.

EDIT: They came out nice. Wasn't a total waste by far, buy far from being aftermarket A arms.

For me, I tried pressing them out, and it was no go. I ended up using a large drill bit and drilling holes in the rubber until I could chisel it out. Then i used a drum sander, the oscilating table top type, that my grandfather has, to clean the rest of the rubber off. It came out nicely. Took me a couple of hours, and it cost about $30 for the poly bushings and about $60 for the MOOG brand SN95 ball joints. Saved myself about $100 doing it all myself over buying new ones, plus I got the SN95 ball joints instead of the Fox ones.
