I have a quick question regarding the stock fuel injector color and rating for the '99-'04 GTs. While working on my buddy's '99 GT this weekend, I noticed that his car has light-blue fuel injectors, while my '04 GT has a light-pink fuel injector. I was under the impression that the light-blue injector indicated a 24lb/hr rating yet I was also under the impression that the mustangs came stock with 19lb/hr injectors. I know his car is stock because his mom bought it new and we have been with the car since day 1. I purchased my car used about 6 months ago but assumed it was stock too. Driving the two cars, his feels like a stronger car, even though his is an auto and mine is a 5spd. Did GTs ever come with 24lb/hr injectors stock, and are the pink 19lb? I always thought yellow were 19lb?
I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Kevin. I live in Arizona. My family and I currently own a 1968 all original fastback with the stock 302/C4/8" with 3.00-1 gears. I purchased a new 2000 GT as a graduation present to myself and later sold it to buy a 2001 Cobra when SVT had 0% financing after 9-11. I sold that car later to buy my house and recently purchased my used '04 GT due to missing my mustang daily driver. My GT currently has an Eibach Pro-Kit with Steeda camber plates, a Magnaflow catted X(catback to follow), Tri-Ax shifter and K&N filter.
