Stock Hood Guys...Have You Ever Done This?

My hood insulator was from the stock hood. Apparently the guy tried to make it work. The problem was he covered the exit vents in the two hood scoops. I took the whole thing off and now my vents circulate air.

I ran the strobe wires through the exit vents and used black zip ties to hold the stobe onto the back of the black screens... you can't even tell they are in them til I turn them on.

I just went under there now, and the rubber grommet that goes in the hole under the hood was completely closed. I punched that open for now.

the stock vents actually have a low pressure effect while driving.....outside air blows over them and draws/sucks out warm underhood air like a vacuum. The stock quarter sized holes on the underside of the hood don't allow a lot of air to come out, but opening them up more I think would benefit more.

Mine are already open but I dont think it makes a difference because of the heat blanket under there, even if the blanket wasnt there i dont think there would be much of an effect.
