Stock Intake Cleaning??

Okay guys, laugh all you want, but I just took off my upper intake, which considering my very poor skills, is an accomplishment for me. I notice there is some carbon build up inside, should I go ahead and clean this, and if so,,,HOW??? Also, what other things should I be looking at since my intake is off???

use some Carb Cleaner then blow it out with an air compressor.... Dont think it would be worth the trouble to go through on a stock intake though.
