Someone or everyone please tell me where the oxygen sensor is on my '93. On the exhaust manifold(if so where on the manifold) or on the pipe ahead of the cat? I need to know so I can get a sensor bung welded to my Ranger header in the correct place.
Thanks!

Plug the o2 sensor up in the header and move it down the pipe further,it will tell the comp you need more fuel and give you alittle more power(aka, lose a little mpg)

About how far down the pipe, just ahead of the cat, or closer to the header flange or does it not matter?

If you imagine a line passing through the flange bolt holes, the mirror image of the EGR bung is the ideal spot for the oxygen sensor (easily accessible). But locate it as far back as you can, to get an even sample from all the primaries.
