Has anyone tried or attempted this yet? You would lose some of the lift (.480/.480 NPI vs. .535/.505 PI) but gain in the duration department (204/208 NPI vs. 192/184 PI). And aren't the higher duration cam numbers (like Comp Cams) causing a lot of folks PTV clearance issues? Might make a great mild street combination setup and NPI cams are plentiful! I believe the base circle size is the same because people put PI cams in NPI heads all the time...anyone tried it the other way around? Thoughts? :flag:

i havent tried but would love more info on this..i have heard that the pi heads run out of flow potential past .500 lift so....maybe putting in the cams with more duration would help...i have some laying around imay go and see if that makes a difference
after i do i willlet yall know if noone has done this yet

My info is: the npi and pi have essentially the same duration, about 190 at .050.
The PIs have more lift.
Rio96,
The information I posted on the NPI/PI cam lift and duration came from SHM new book...I can only assume this information is correct. Anybody have additional sources for information on duration? :flag:
